The Temple of the Sagrada Família is a basilica located in Barcelona, Spain, designed by the renowned architect Antoni Gaudí. Gaudí aimed to develop an authentic Catalan style that infused modernism with Gothic and curvilinear art nouveau forms. The basilica is known for its religious symbolism and has three iconic facades that depict the birth, passion, and glory of Christ.
Gaudí worked on the Sagrada Família for 40 years and devoted his last 12 years to serving God through architecture as he viewed architecture as a form of prayer. After his death in 1926, loyal architects and designers digitally reconstructed Gaudi’s design process while referencing fragmental documents such as drawings, sketches or photographs.
